Overall Impression: Silky and sweet. Medium thick mouthfeel.
Aroma: Dark cherry, cocoa, nougat.
Appearance: Deep brown/black with deep maroon shades. Tan coloured head dissipates slowly. Minimal lacing.
Flavour: Slightly sweet but not cloying. Roasted malt and minimal hop presence. Strong red fruit flavour with notes of sweet and sour cherry, red currant. Balanced by a dark chocolate bitterness and slight perception of salt. The flavour is reminiscent of chocolate covered cherries or a chocolate cherry cookie.
